May Rudolph Day

It's that time again - Rudolph Day over at Scrappy Mo's blog. For my card this month I used Lisa Horton stamps from Creative Expressions with Cosmic Shimmer gilding polish to create the background.

I stamped onto black card and cut out the window frame and then used some of the other stamps to create a scene through the window.

Amazing and atmospheric background. Lovely idea to create the window and scene. The layering of your card draws your eye in too x

This is a beautifully designed card Linby and I love the black card which makes the gilding polish stand out so prettily, and I love that bright and pretty blue too. Thank you for joining in with the May Rudolph Days Challenge. x

The gilding polish looks fabulous on this wonderful scene. Great card!

The bottom piece looks like cork strips and was the perfect colour to go with the snippet of birthday party hats.

fabulous card, Lynn! I think I need that window frame - what a gorgeous stamp!
Lovely card Lynn. I like how you've used the gilding polish which I've just actually acquired so many thanks for the inspiration. I really like that window and the cottages in the background give your card great perspective. Enjoy the rest of the Bank Holiday weekend. Crafty hugs, Sandra x
